I work with adults who feel stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or tired of carrying things on their own. Many of the people I work with are living with the effects of trauma, grief, chronic stress, difficult relationships, or life experiences that still influence them years later. Sometimes that shows up as anxiety, self-doubt, relationship struggles, or patterns that feel difficult to understand or change. I believe people make more sense when we understand their story. Rather than rushing to label or fix something, I focus on helping clients understand what they have been through, how those experiences continue to affect them, and what healing might look like moving forward.
My approach is grounded in curiosity, compassion, and genuine connection. Therapy should feel like a place where you can be honest, feel respected, and not have to carry everything alone. I try to create an environment where people feel safe enough to slow down, make sense of what they're experiencing, and begin moving toward the life they want to build.
I am currently completing the final year of my Master of Social Work program at Aurora University. I have a particular interest in grief, trauma, and eating disorders, as well as the many ways loss, relationships, and life experiences shape who we become. You do not need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. We can begin wherever you are and take it one step at a time.
